US Secretary of State and Secretary General of NATO

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg discussed continued support for Ukraine, strengthening the alliance's deterrence and defense, and enhancing flexibility.

This came - according to US State Department spokesman Ned Price, today, Tuesday - during Blinken's meeting with Stoltenberg in Bucharest, Romania, before the meeting of NATO foreign ministers.

Price added in a statement posted on the US State Department website that Blinken and Stoltenberg discussed priorities for the next meeting, including continued support for Ukraine, strengthening coalition deterrence and defense, and enhancing flexibility.

In his statement, Price indicated that both sides expressed their continued support for Finland and Sweden's accession process to NATO.
