And the university stated - in the latest statistics it published on its website - that the total deaths due to infection with the virus around the world rose to 6 million, 706 thousand and 297 deaths.

The United States recorded the largest number of cases around the world, which amounted to more than 101.2 million injuries, while the death toll from India exceeded 44.6 million injuries, ranking second, followed by Brazil, with more than 36.4 million.

According to the latest data, the United States topped the list of countries in terms of the number of deaths due to infection with the virus, with more than one million and 96 thousand cases, followed by Brazil in second place with 694 thousand and 779 deaths, then India comes in third place with a total of 530 thousand and 720 deaths.
