Chrissy Teigen has given birth to a third child with her husband, John Legend, and the latter told the audience while performing at a private music concert Friday night, revealing that he and his wife welcomed "the little boy this morning," according to the British "Daily Mail" website.

"What a blessed day," the singer said, adding that although he hadn't slept much, he felt energized after spending so much time by Chrissie's side in the hospital. The happy news came almost two years after Chrissie and John lost their son, Jack, after 20 weeks into her pregnancy, and later reveals that her late son's death was the result of a life-saving miscarriage, not a miscarriage as she originally reported.

She explained that she made the "difficult decision" to terminate the pregnancy after consulting her husband on the matter, and said: "It was an abortion ... an abortion to save my life for a child who had no chance at all ... to be honest."

Chrissy Teigen, who has been married to John since 2013, shares two other children with him: her daughter Luna, six, and her son, Miles, four.

In 2013, his song “All FM Me” ranked first among the top 100 songs, from his fourth album, Hob in the Future.


In 2007, Legend received the David Hall Award for All-Stars from the Writers Hall of Fame. Legend won the Academy Award for Best Original Song as well as a Golden Globe Award for co-writing Glory from the movie Selma. John has also won Grammy Awards. In 2017, John received a Tony Award for his participation in the Broadway production of Jitney. In 2018, he participated in filming the series Issa Al-Masih, an adaptation of the rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice. He was then nominated for an Emmy Award as an actor, and won for a producer, making him one of only 16 people of color to receive an Oscar or an Emmy. This achievement was achieved at an early age.
